Ways to Get to the Cox Plate Carnival this Weekend



Follow the Melways map reference 28 k. There is Member’s parking available via Gate 1 on McPherson St. For free public parking, go to the centre of the track via Gate 7 on Wilson Street.


Coming from the city, connect with the Craigieburn line at Flingers Street Station. The Moonee Valley Racecourse is 10 minutes on foot from the Moonee Ponds Station.


Take tram 59 from Elizabeth Street. This will take you directly to Moonee Ponds Junction. From here, the entrance to the race course is a short 200 meter walk .


There is a taxi rank conveniently located on McPherson Street, Moonee Ponds. Additionally, there is one near MV Legends on Wilson Street. These taxis can take you to home safely at the end of the race day if you don’t feel comfortable using public transport.
